Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs reminds me of velvet – not a heavy velvet, but one with a silky texture. That’s because, although it is a very vivacious, dynamic cuvée, it also has substance and density – and, of course, great elegance.
Lightly toasty and fresh, with a pretty display of poached apricot, blood orange sorbet, brioche and candied ginger set on a lacy, persistent mousse. Shows smoke and spices on the finish. Drink now. -WS

Entry level stuff. Big name Moet. Lacks a bit of depth but very easy to drink. Great for casual dinners or parties. We bought six bottles of these and had a great time with our guests!

You really can't beat a Dom Perignon. It's instantly recognizable and a GREAT champagne. It's not as crazy in terms of pricing as those boutique grower ones (not for everyone) nor the rare P3 or Krug Mesnil ones. However, at this price, you really can't ask for a higher quality champagne. Amazing complexity and taste.
